Some good deeds might go in vain. Others weigh heavy on the scale. Though, we would not know in this life about which of them are accepted but let’s keep performing good deeds with sincere intentions of gaining the pleasure of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) alone. Let’s pledge to not let the negativity of the former fact deprive us of the innumerable rewards in the hope of the latter. Remember that even a single deed could be enough to earn us the mercy and love of Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala). So keep trying. Don’t give up.
No matter how mundane an effort of helping someone feels, how difficult an act of patience is, how small the amount of charity seems; the rewards may be huge and abundant. Don’t let Shaitaan discourage and deviate us from the straight path. Let’s keep faith and hold onto our pure intentions as truly “Actions are judged by intentions.” (Sahih Bukhari)
